Jean 3x Faster Than Fan Man: Olivier Jean took on fan man earlier today for a show on History Channel. I didn’t make it over to watch the race, but Olivier Jean reported that he completed 3 laps while fan-man finished 1 lap. Below is a picture of Olivier and I out on the town last night.

Across America: Here is one more post from Danny Dannels who just completed his skate from one side of the USA to the other- The Last Run- he writes ‘I noticed my voice changed at the end. I remember it was soft and questioning. “Is this it? Is this the end? It can’t be the end. I still have my skates on. I guess this is it. Am I really done?” I sat down on a deck and tried to fathom that I had reached the end of my long skate. It was surreal. It didn’t seem like I should actually be done. I knew it had to be. I could see the ocean. I may not have actually been ready for it to be over.

11 hours and 92 miles after donning my skates, I had completed my last run. Hillary removed my skates for me. The left foot was greeted with searing pain. My right foot felt like she was dislocating my ankle to remove the skate. I bit down as hard as I could when she got it off. I heard Michael say, “It’s ok, man. Let it out.” I crumbled into a teary mess, cradling my right foot, knowing that it would finally have a chance to heal. Hillary wrapped herself around me, providing not only the comfort of my loving wife, but also a shield from the others as I disintegrated in pain‘.
