RSO Indoor Series #3: The RSO Indoor Series #3 took place earlier today. The series is small and very local, but it is important and serves a lot of purposes in the small Canadian roller speed skating community- it is necessary racing experience for skaters and the series allows for officials to gain practical experience at running events.
For example, Wayne Burrett was starter and timer, Aaron Ardnt was referee, Andrew Hergarty was lap-counter, Gillian Clarke and Debbien Melin were tabulators, and I was a timer. A number of people helped set the rink up and clean the floor.
You can find all my photos here and the results here; 300m time trial results, 500m results, 1000m results, and stage #3 rankings.
