Canada’s short track team athletes were on the podium today three times, capturing two gold medals and one bronze at the ISU World Cup in Nagoya, Japan. Charles Hamelin of Sainte-Jullie, Que., won gold in the 1,000 metres (1:25.915), while teammate Michael Gilday of Yellowknife took the bronze (1:26.909). Olivier Jean of Lachenaie, Que., won gold in the 500-metre race (41.478). (results web site)
