Results & Reports- Can Am Long Track- Calgary, Canada- Wortherspoon Wins 500 & 1000, Harry Vogel Comes 5th In 1000

Canada’s Jeremy Wotherspoon won both the 500-meter (34.70) and 1000-meter races on day 1. Jamie Gregg came back to win the 500-meters on day 2 with a time of 34.53.

USA’s Harry Vogel placed 5th in the 1000-meters, with a time of 1.10,91.

This year the Can Am and the Junior World Cup are 2-in-1. The US, Romania, and Canada are racing in the world cup. There were skaters who qualified from last year and are doing great! Lots of PBs were broken today overall. You can tell also, cause the ice had the air sucked out of it. If you see little bubble holes, then you know you gotta get yer legs movin or you might not get as big of a PB, but you’ll still get a PB…Hopefully.
