The New York 100k was held this past weekend in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park.

The event, which drew a strong international field, acted as NROC’s season finale-

• The race was held in great weather conditions, but with fairly strong winds
• Friends were very helpful, including Bob Harwell & Oliver Martinez
• I was asked to announce the award presentations
• I ended up in 9th place overall after completely I ran out of steam going up the hill for the 17th of 19 times
• Morgane and I had a chance to visit (and eat at) Carlo’s Bakery in Hooboken, NJ. The bakery is featured in TLC’s television show ‘Cake Boss’
• The top-10 100k finishers in the Pro Men included athletes from Colombia, France, USA, Holland, and Canada
• The top 5 100k Pro Women were from Colombia (2) and Canada (3)
